Remote AI-training jobs exist in many languages besides English: platforms pay native speakers to rate, write and correct AI answers, record their voice and review translations in their own language. Today OpenJob lists open roles in more than 40 languages. The table shows, for the main ones, how many are open, how many publish an hourly rate and how many do not ask for English.
How many remote AI jobs are open in each language?
Figures recalculate automatically every time listings change. “Starting pay” is the median of the lowest published hourly rate, in US dollars, among listings that publish one.

What does a language job in AI training involve?
Most roles fall into four groups: rating and comparing AI answers in your language, writing or correcting example texts, voice and audio work such as recordings or transcription, and specialist roles where a doctor, lawyer, engineer or programmer checks AI output in their own language. Pay, hours and eligible countries change from listing to listing, so each OpenJob page shows them as published.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to speak English to get a remote AI-training job in another language?
Not always. We read each official listing in Italian, Spanish, French and German and record what it says about English. In those languages a large share of listings do not ask for English, although application forms and instructions are often written in English. The table above links to each list.
Which language has the most remote AI-training jobs after English?
On our catalogue today Spanish has the most open roles (89), followed by French (72) and German (71). Japanese and Portuguese follow. The ranking changes as projects open and close, and the numbers on this page update automatically.
Can I apply from any country if I speak the language?
No. Speaking a language does not make you eligible: many listings accept only people living in specific countries. Every OpenJob listing shows the eligible countries exactly as the official listing states them, so check that line before applying.
Are these jobs legitimate?
OpenJob only lists roles published on the official page of the hiring platform, and you always apply there. Applying is free: a real platform never asks for money to apply, train or unlock earnings. Our guide on spotting scams explains the warning signs in detail.
How we collect this data
OpenJob is an independent aggregator, not an employer. We check the official pages of platforms that hire for AI projects every day, add new roles and remove closed ones. Pay is shown only when it is published and in the unit the platform uses. Details on the Methodology page. Some apply links are referral links: applying stays free and this does not change which jobs we list or their order (Transparency).
