What the work involves

According to the current listings, you review, annotate and evaluate clinical documentation, including AI-generated clinical notes, so that medical AI systems become more accurate, safer and more useful to clinicians. Physician roles focus on the notes you already write in practice: outpatient notes in primary care, or H&Ps, progress notes and discharge summaries for hospitalists.

Requirements in the current listings

  • Physicians: MD with at least 2 years post-residency and a current practice in primary care, family medicine, general internal medicine or inpatient hospital medicine.
  • Medical coders: an active certification (CCDS, CHC, CCS or CPC), ICD-10 coding experience, current work in medical coding or clinical documentation improvement, and at least 10 hours a week of availability.
  • All current roles: US-based, plus advanced (C1 or above) proficiency in at least one language besides English, for example Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Tagalog, Russian, Haitian Creole, Korean or Arabic.

Requirements can change when new roles open, so always check the listing itself.
