About the role
Mercor is hiring practicing Inpatient Hospitalists (MD) on behalf of a healthcare AI partner building advanced clinical documentation and decision-support tools. In this role you will apply your active inpatient expertise to review, annotate, and evaluate hospital clinical documentation , directly shaping the accuracy, safety, and clinical usefulness of medical AI systems. This role is designed for physicians with a current inpatient practice who write and read hospital documentation as part of their regular work.
Experience
MD — hospitalist or internal medicine — with 2+ years post-residency and a current inpatient practice . US-based . Hands-on experience writing and reading at least one of the following: H&Ps, progress notes, discharge summaries . In addition to English, advanced (C1 or above) proficiency — speaking, listening, and writing — in at least one of the following languages: . Spanish · Chinese (Mandarin) · Chinese (Cantonese) · Tagalog · Russian · Haiti
