What you do on Project Aether
Aether is a generalist content evaluation project: you do not need a technical background. According to contributors and training material shared online, the tasks fall into five groups.
- Audio and video evaluation. You compare AI outputs with quality guidelines and judge whether lighting, shadows, proportions and sound feel realistic.
- Furniture removal and reconstruction. You remove movable furniture from a room image while keeping the structure, then write a prompt that describes where the furniture was and how much there was.
- Sketch to photorealistic. You judge whether an AI-generated image matches the original sketch accurately and without artifacts.
- Bounding box annotation. You draw boxes around clickable elements in high-definition screenshots.
- Conversation responses. You rate multi-turn AI replies for accuracy, logic and safety.
Tasks are short and can be done in small blocks of time. Task availability changes with client demand, so there can be days with little or no work.
