About the role
Remote contract work for aerodynamics specialists on an AI training project: create, solve and validate CFD and aerodynamic tasks through command-line workflows, such as preparing domains and meshes, setting boundary conditions, running simulations, computing lift and drag and checking that results are physically valid. Python is used to automate the workflow.
Experience
MS or PhD in aerospace engineering, or mechanical engineering with an aerodynamics or fluid dynamics focus; or a BS plus 1–2 years of aero-specific experience. Strong fluid mechanics and CFD experience; practical Python; at least one engineering tool usable through a CLI or scripting interface.
Selection process
Apply on the official micro1 page. The listing describes screening questions, an AI interview of about 30 minutes and a hiring manager review.
Eligibility
Global, fully remote (as stated on the listing)
